In Pristina, organizations ECMI and Pax for Peace presented a report on establishing the Association / Community of Serb Municipalities (A/CSM) under the name “exit from the impasse.”

The report indicates a need for multi-ethnic community, what was also stressed by the Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanović. Fear of its formation is unfounded since it will benefit all the citizens of Kosovo. He also stressed the need for changes of the legal framework, in order to establish the A/CSM.  “We, representatives of the Serbs, believe that the Statute of the A/CSM should define the competencies. Certain competencies which are now within jurisdiction of Ministries and decisions brought by the Ministries cannot be brought without the consent of the A/CSM, in the areas defined by the first Brussels Agreement,” said Stojanović.
