The Association of Journalists in Kosovo and Metohija yesterday condemned the attack with explosive device at premises of a public broadcaster RTK and called authorities to find and punish the perpetrators.

An explosive device has exploded in the yard of RTK seat in Pristina, around 09:50 pm on Monday, no injuries were reported. This serious incident is another evidence that journalists and those employed in media are not safe in Kosovo, communicated the Association and reminded that a year ago gun shots were fired at premises of KoSSev web portal in Mitrovica north, whereas perpetrators have not been found yet.

According to the Association’s data, no one has been held responsible yet for murder of four and kidnapping of five journalists from the beginning of clashes in Kosovo in 1998.
