Simic expects a "chain reaction" of creditors Trepča (RTS)
The head of the parliamentary group of the Serbian List Slavko Simić told RTS that he expects launch of court proceedings by the shareholders and creditors of Trepča against Kosovo government. Simić says that the creditors' receivables are about 300 million euros.
Slavko Simić says that the request of the Special Chamber of the Kosovo Supreme Court on annulment of the law on Trepča is another proof that the management and workers of Trepča, as well as political representatives, were right when they have filed complaints with Kosovo Constitutional Court to such a harmful legislation, which failed to protect the vital interests of the Serbian community and violated the rights of workers, shareholders and creditors.
He explains that the Supreme Court noted the disputed law transformed the existing Trepča into a new company, which has taken upon itself all rights to property, infrastructure and everything worth, and obligations towards creditors and debts left to the Trepča.
"Serbian political representatives expect, on the occasion of this law, and other instances to announce, which have people of scientific and moral integrity in their teams, and to seek from the constitutional court unconstitutionality of the law," says Simić.
He also expects a "chain reaction" and initiation of court proceedings by the shareholders and creditors of Trepča against Kosovo government.
Simić said that the creditors' receivables are about 300 million euros.
