Serbian Interior Minister Nebojša Stefanović says that Ramush Haradinaj is not on the wanted list for political reasons, but because of serious crimes. It is expected that each country, which corresponds to this type of arrest warrant, to show that the law is more important than politics.

"If he is released, the question is what does this say about the warrants of Serbia or relationship between Serbia and other countries towards these warrants. I do not know what will be the further continuation of the legal process, we did that as a state, and I saw that the Prime Minister confirmed that it was requested to continue with it," Nebojša Stefanović told reporters.

According to him, this country (France) needs to show that it is more powerful than any political pressures and that  it can respond to the request of Serbia, despite all the pressures.
