Drecun: The campaign started in the UN to withdraw UNMIK from Kosovo (RTS, N1)
President of the Committee of the Assembly of Serbia for Kosovo and Metohija Milovan Drecun says that presentations of the Western ambassadors at the session of the UN Security Council regarding the quarterly report on Kosovo, represent the start of the campaign for the withdrawal of UNMIK from Kosovo and an attempt to relocate the problem of Kosovo from the UN.
"This is an attempt to relocate the problem of Kosovo out of the UN, where they cannot continue to operate, and to transfer this problem, as said by British Ambassador (Matthew Rycroft) to Brussels. We will have a strong campaign and pressures for Kosovo to become by the end of the year a member of UNESCO," Drecun said for RTS.
He assesses and that former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army will be trying to position themselves to all the functions of the executive branch, as this will be a way for them to defend against the future Court for the KLA, and thus the Prosecution would be in a delicate situation so that it cannot raise indictments.
