Ivanović and Milović: Complaints filed against unknown perpetrators for the pressures on candidates (Kontakt plus radio)
Representatives of the CI SDP and “Together for Zvečan” and candidates for mayors and North Mitrovica and Zvečan, Oliver Ivanović and Dragiša Milović announced that they filed complaints against unknown perpetrators for the pressures on candidates for councillors who withdrew their candidacies from these two lists, reports Kontakt plus radio.
The complaints have been filed with the Serbian prosecutor, the radio reports.
Ivanović further explained that the Kosovo Prosecutor does not receive any complaints against the unknown perpetrators. Ivanović reiterated that both lists were suffering serious pressures, especially candidates for councillors working in the health care and education.
He said that the elections cannot be won by violence, blackmail and intimidation of cadres, and that in such cases the authorities should react and he repeated that he expected the reaction of the state leadership.
Doctor Dragiša Milović, candidate of the CI “Together for Zvečan” for the mayor reiterated that they are still open to talks with the representatives of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija and with the citizens who are part of the Serbian List.
Milović underlined that he would endure despite all the pressures, and urged citizens to elect the ones they think are the best in the upcoming local elections.
Boban Jevtić, a candidate for the municipal assembly and mayor in Ranilug/Ranillug municipality and Miloš Kovačević, candidate for the member of assembly in the municipality of Srbica/Skenderaj also spoke at the press conference.
