Families of victims from Kosovo want “March of Truth and Justice” until “Yellow house” (SRNA, Kontakt plus radio)
Association of Families of Kidnapped and Murdered Persons in Kosovo requested from KFOR and EULEX to enable them security during “March of Truth and Justice” from Merdare crossing point to the “Yellow house” in Albania, where kidnapped Serbs from Kosovo were murdered, Serbian media reported.
Its press statement further said this was relation where their beloved once were kidnapped, torched and murdered, and the aim of the march is to point out impunity of crimes committed against Serbs.
Members of the march would carry with them Serbian Wall of Tears, Kosmetske zrtve, that they would place in front of the Kosovo Government at the end of the march.
The press statement also said that in Livadice nearby Podujevo, high number of Serbs were kidnapped and murdered in 1999, 2000 and 2001 while KFOR and UNMIK until today remained silent observers of crimes that had happened.
The high number of Serbs, the press statement continued, were kidnapped in Pristina and its surroundings and taken to NATO base Bondsteel, while a high number of Serbs were also kidnapped in 1998, (10 miners at Belacevac mine, civilians from Obilic municipality) who were taken to the camps “Likovac” and “Malisevo” in Drenica.
The Association also reminded that hundreds of Serbs were murdered Kosovo wide, and according to the claims of former ICTY chief prosecutor Carla Del Ponte, 400 kidnapped Serbs were transferred with trucks through Montenegro and Macedonia to the “Yellow house” and camps in Albania.
The exact date of the march was not announced, Serbian media reported.
