Antic: “Internal dialogue” in order not to have dialogue (BETA, B92)

Member of People’s Party Political Board and historian, Cedomir Antic said that the so-called internal dialogue on Kosovo issue was launched in order not to have a real dialogue, Serbian media reported. Antic also added, that the government is trying to talk now when it has accepted the integration of the north of Kosovo under Pristina’s authority with the Brussels agreement. Antic, who spoke on Novi Sad Television, assessed that the Association of Serb Municipalities is not an example of autonomy in some territory and that the current government does not have a clear goal it wishes to achieve. “When Vuk Jeremic was the Chairperson of the UN General Assembly in 2013, a diner was organized in New York, after the conference where I took part. Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic was also present and he said while he is the president, he will not accept the Brussels agreement. In fact, he accepted it after two weeks,” Antic said. He also believes it is hard to reach consensus in Serbian society when it comes to the Kosovo issue, Serbian media reported.
