ZSO – factor of Brussels (dis)agreement (RTS)
Change of Kosovo status is a "fait accompli" to the West, there is no room for division either. As a hope it remains that Serbs in Kosovo get what has been agreed in Brussels five years ago, the Association of the Serb Municipalities, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told RTS after meeting the Western countries’ officials.
According to media reports, the Association of the Serb Municipalities is a maximum Belgrade can get in Kosovo. Western power centres, according to Belgrade-based Novosti daily told Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic not even to think about the division of the territory and that Belgrade is requested to recognize Kosovo, formally or informally.
Vucic added that Belgrade negotiates not only with Albanians, but also with those who have created self-declared Kosovo.
“The West attempts to make Belgrade accept concessions. It is not only crucial that Belgrade does not oppose Kosovo membership to the UNESCO and Interpol, but also to open a door to Kosovo to enter the UN, which is unacceptable to Belgrade,” Serbian Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija Chairman, Milovan Drecun told RTS.
Kosovo unilaterally declared independence ten years ago. What is a solution to the Kosovo issue, following internal dialogue in Serbia, President Vucic would tell by the end of April. At the same time, according to RTS he is trying to get support from the international community for the platform he would present to the Serbian citizens.
