Dacic: A plan to accuse Serbs for rape of 20,000 Albanian women (Telegraf, Blic, Vecernje Novosti)

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Daci told portal Telegraf.rs that in Kosovo an action is being conducted aiming to accuse Serbs of allegedly rape of 20,000 Albanian women in Kosovo during 1998 and 1999, reports Serbian media, quoting the portal.

"In Kosovo an action is being taken, designed by a lobby group or marketing agency. They want to take advantage of the fact that a lot is being fought against violence against women in the world, against rape, especially rape and violence during war conflicts. In Kosovo, there are already alleged lists and petitions that 20,000 women reported being raped during 1999 in Kosovo," Dacic said. To make things seem more convincing, lobbyists' target are three known members of the then military units, Milorad Ulemek Legija, Nebojsa Pavkovic and Goran Radosavljevic Guri, Telegraf reported.

For this reason, Dacic adds, now at every Security Council session, Kosovo Ambassador Vlora Citaku talks about it "somehow is shameful to lie Serbia, and even to mention real victims."

"Obviously, we did not understand how the new world order functions," the head of Serbian diplomacy concluded, reported the portal.
