Serbian PM Brnabic on Pristina officials’ statements (Tanjug, B92)
Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic told representatives of Pristina authorities to stop talking about Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, Tanjug news agency reported.
She noted it should be spoken about how we could reach a compromise that would enable long-term normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina.
This way, Brnabic responded to the claims of Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, who said he has received support from French President Macron, so Belgrade and Pristina can reach a binding agreement within a short time, with the realistic possibility of border correction, which implies Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja to merge with Kosovo.
Brnabic also noted she cannot comment on that statement much, since Thaci’s statements, same as the statements of other Pristina representatives are different every day and contradict each other. This proves true what she has said earlier about Pristian authorities, that there is no one on the other side of the table, Serbia can talk to, and expect they would do what they have promised to do.
