Drecun: KLA leaders should be indicted, not witnesses (Tanjug, RTS)
Chairman of the Serbian Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun thinks that the first group of former KLA commanders, who are supposed to go to The Hague, should be indicted, and not on the list of witnesses, Tanjug news agency reports.
“According to me, those invited now, are rather candidates to be indicted than becoming witnesses, but perhaps some of them could be a protected witness,” Drecun said.
He added, hearings are the part of the final phase in collecting evidence for the committed crimes, and that Specialist Prosecution would then decide if they have sufficient evidences and opt to raise indictments.
