Abbot of Serbian Orthodox Church Visoki Decani Monastery Sava Janjic said Kosovo is an area that no one has the right to renounce, while those who remain silent over that would carry a burden of a curse.

Abbot Janjic made these remarks in Podgorica, at presentation of the Serbian Orthodox Church new Memorandum on Kosovo and Metohija. There should be talks and one should work on improving our lives, but not in this manner, to speak about “the final solution” and that solution to be agreed by somebodies at some secret meetings, and only after to inform the people and the Church about it, Abbot Janjic underlined.

“We would carry a heavy curse both as people and as individuals if we remain silent. That is why it is important to speak, to warn, pray to the Lord, and this is what I do, every day, before the Holly King Stefan Decanski, to prevent those who want to carry out this misdeed, to stop them doing it and prevent them causing such an evil to the people who managed to remain and survive in Kosovo,” Abbot Janjic said.
