Only Washington did more than condemnation (RTS)
Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic told the RTS in the "Oko" show, about the relations between Belgrade and Pristina, that the abolition of the tariffs is not in sight.
"I do not see that Pristina is thinking about acting constructively, in accordance with the time in which we live. Pristina is trying to sharpen the situation further and move away from the dialogue," Brnabic said.
She points out that the German-French initiative, which is being mentioned, should be directed towards the abolition of the tariffs, because Belgrade will only then continue the dialogue.
Although everyone unanimously condemned the introduction of a 100 per cent tax on goods from central Serbia and Bosnia, only Washington did a step further.
"They denied visas for Pristina leaders, they have made a move to suspend some other kind of cooperation with security services, the only ones who did something other than the declarative calling on Pristina to abolish taxes," Brnabic said.
According to Brnabic, the relations with Pristina have not so far affected investors. She says that this is thanks to the Serbia's response that did not turn to the countermeasures but is trying to maintain stability.
