Ksenija Bozovic summoned for third time to make statement in Ivanovic’s murder investigation (KoSSev, Serbian media)
Deputy leader of Civic Initiative Freedom, Democracy, Justice (GI SDP) and close associate of Oliver Ivanovic, Ksenija Bozovic received on Monday the third summons for a witness questioning in the case of the murder of SDP leader, Oliver Ivanovic, KoSSev portal reports.
Bozovic confirmed to KoSev that she will respond to the summons, stressing that this summons like all those sent to the associates of the murdered Ivanovic comes in a strange moment. GI SDP also perceived this as a pressure ahead of the upcoming Kosovo elections, scheduled to take part on October 6.
Bozovic underlined that she has already made a statement twice to the Kosovo Special Prosecutor’s Office as a witness. She also questioned the moment this was delivered, as was the case with previous summons for Silvana Arsovic, Ivanovic’s long-term secretary.
“Why are they just inviting us as his closest associates and harassing us so many times. What new things can they expect us to say? This is a pressure on us, and this is exhausting,” Bozovic said.
In addition to criticizing the fact that the summons comes after the elections are announced, this political representative of Serbs in Kosovo and a member of Mitrovica North municipal assembly said that the she will respond to the summons.
KoSSev also noted that despite the fact that the Serbian language is official language in Kosovo, as well as the mother tongue of Ksenija Bozovic, the Special Prosecution sent her a summons in the Albanian language only.
