No poisoning symptoms found among CEC members in Pristina (Radio KIM, RTS)
Director of the Infective Diseases Clinic in Pristina Lindita Ajazaj-Berisha said the analysis showed there were no symptoms of poisoning present among the members of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Serbian media report.
Speaking at a press conference, Ajazaj-Berisha said that 12 patients currently staying in that clinic do not have infective syndrome.
“Their health condition is good. The patients have no complains. There is no infective syndrome. All tests are normal. We think it would be the best that they remain under medical observation for the next 24 hours,” she said, Pristina-based Koha reported.
Nine women and two men, Albanian members of the Central Election Commission reported poisoning after getting in touch with election material from central Serbia, for which counting they were responsible. All of them have reported the same symptoms after touching the ballots, Radio KIM reported.
