Foreign Ministry condemns attack on Turkish Consulate in Prizren (Zeri)

Kosovo’s Foreign Ministry condemned the attack on Turkey’s General Consulate building in Prizren this morning, considering it "a vandal act of irresponsible people who are against a democratic and multi-ethnic state like Kosovo."  “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs congratulates the Kosovo Police for arresting the irresponsible persons who have committed this hideous act. The Ministry requires that the perpetrators be brought to justice.

Kosovo sends note of protest to Serbia over Kelmendi’s arrest (Insajderi)

Kosovo’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs today sent a note of protest to Serbia over the arrest of Kosovo citizen Hilmi Kelmendi on Sunday.  Bashmir Xhemaj, media adviser to Minister Enver Hoxhaj, confirmed the news. “Today we have sent a note of protest to Serbia for the recent arrest, and we informed all international institutions and the EU for this unacceptable behavior of Serbia. This behavior jeopardizes the achievements in the dialogue for the normalization of relations,” Xhemaj said.

Enver Hoxhaj returns to the post of the Foreign Minister (Koha Ditore)

Enver Hoxhaj, has returned to the post of the Foreign Minister of Kosovo. The expected to become leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) Kadri Veseli, said that Hoxhaj will replace Hashim Thaci on the position of the Foreign Minister. Speaking about the recommendation for liberalization of visas, Veseli said that his party was the “locomotive” of this process. I thank the citizens for their patience from the PDK Headquarters.
