Bitter taste of the new government (Koha)

Flaka Surroi, publicist and owner of Koha Group, writes that there is very little enthusiasm among the citizens, for the new government of Kosovo. Instead of improving the image of Kosovo as needed, especially after Marty and Williamson, Kosovo has gone public with a new face, but “a face out of darkness”, argues Surroi. According to her, the word "Minister" has now become synonymous with maximum political aspiration in Kosovo.

Surroi to replace Shala as dialogue coordinator? (Indeksonline)

Citing sources close to Kosovar publicist Veton Surroi, the news website reports that negotiations are being finalized for Surroi's inclusion in the future government consisting of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK). According to the same sources, Surroi could take up the post held by Blerim Shala, the coordinator of dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade. Shala has reportedly notified LDK and PDK leaders that his party chief, Ramush Haradinaj, no longer wants to have an active role in the dialogue.

Triangle of banality (Koha Ditore)

Publicist and former publisher of Koha Ditore, Veton Surroi, writes in an opinion piece that while the Bermuda Triangle serves as a synonym for a mystery, in Kosovo there is a similar type of a triangle between the leader of Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) Hashim Thaci, President of Kosovo Atifete Jahjaga, and President of Constitutional Court Enver Hasani. The Kosovo triangle, adds Surroi, possesses all necessary features of the Bermuda Triangle – capacity to create losses and its banality. Thaci leads the triangle in all aspects.

Kosovo needs a majority and European government – without PDK (Koha)

Publicist Veton Surroi argues in his opinion piece that the majority in Kosovo is not represented by 200,000 voters of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and that “it is completely illogical for the will of the majority of the people of Kosovo to submit to the will of the minority”. Surroi notes that the state is the essential difference between the voters of the minority (PDK) and the majority (the opposition block: LDK, VV, AAK and Nisma).
