Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic says that key messages from the Berlin meeting yesterday focused on an attempt to unblock the stalemate in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, reports RTK2 quoting Croatian news agency Hina.

He added that the views of Belgrade and Pristina are quite distant

Croatian Foreign Minister Marija Pejcinovic-Buric met with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in Washington on Wednesday. Among other things, she spoke about the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and warned against the danger of redrawing the borders, Belgrade daily Blic reports, quoting Croatian news agency Hina.

Kosovo’s Foreign Minister, Enver Hoxhaj said in an interview to Croatian news agency Hina that Serbia’s goal is not to join the European Union but rather to dominate south-east Europe through tensions with neighbouring countries. “Serbia wants to create a sphere of influence in the region in the Russian style by demonstrating its role and power in Bosnia and Herzegovina through Republika Srpska, in Kosovo through the Serb population in the north, in Montengro as well as Macedonia, even in Croatia by inciting continuous tensions,” Hoxhaj said.
