Kosovo Special Prosecution witness, Shkumbin Mehmeti claims that 2004 March violence was organized by a criminal group, supported by war parties, secret service and big families, Insajder reports referring to KoSSev portal.

A criminal group was established by the end of 2001 and this group carried out numerous post-war killings including political ones, portal writes. “Big names” were aware of the establishment and activities of this group.

Special War Crimes Prosecutor, Elez Blakaj has expanded the investigation against Bogdan Mitrovic to seven more persons, one of them Albanian, lawyer Dejan A. Vasic said to KIM Radio.

The Basic Court in Prizren approved this request.

Kosovo Special Prosecution said in a statement today that it has found no sufficient evidence to charge the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, Nenad Rikalo, after he was accused of being involved in mistreatement of his former Albanian neighbours during the 1998-99 conflict. “Based on a preliminary inquiry, the Republic of Kosovo Special Prosecution has concluded there is no sufficient evidence to support a war crimes case. If new evidence surface, the prosecution can open a new inquiry,” the statement reads.

Families of kidnapped and missing Serbs in Kosovo do not have too much expectation from the start of the Special Court's work and indictments, Silvana Marinković from the Association of Families of the Missing Serbs told KIM radio.

Distrust among family members of missing persons is the result of previous experience, says Marinković.

Kosovo Special Prosecution brought up indictment today against R.A arrested on the eve of Easter Holiday, under suspicion that he was calling for terrorist acts in Kosovo.

R.A is indicted under suspicion that on 14th April, using Facebook profile, Internet and You Tube profile “Nashhed” posted video recordings with the texts he wrote and recorded calling upon “Muslims in the name of Jihad” to commit terrorist attacks against Kosovo Government and foreign embassies in Kosovo.
