Court orders arrest of four former Kosovo Serb police officers (KoSSev, N1, Insajderi)

A court in Pristina has issued arrest warrants for four Serbs, former Kosovo Police officers charged with smuggling goods from Serbia, the Insajderi portal reported on Thursday.

The court is reported to have issued the arrest warrants on August 2, the KoSSev portal said.

Insajderi said that the four former police officers are suspected of abusing their powers by smuggling goods illegally across the border in both directions.

Summoned Red Cross officials in Kosovo released (RTS, Tanjug)

Red Cross secretaries from Pec, Gracanica and Dragas municipalities – Momo Dasic, Sveta Zivic and Zecir Zurapi were released after being summoned by the police last night.

RTS reported that Zivic, along with secretaries of Red Cross in Novo Brdo, Dragan Stojanovic, Vitina, Tomislav Rakic and Obilic, Zoran Vasic should report to the police today for an informative interview. Police seized earlier Red Cross seals and documents about socially endangered families in Gracanica and Dragas.
