Head of EU Delegation in Serbia Sem Fabrizi said on Friday that the Kosovo army should be formed in line with the Constitution which does not mean that today’s vote on three laws to transform the Kosovo Security Forces (KSF) is contrary to it, TV N1 reports.

“Our view is clear. The EU shares the opinion of NATO that the transformation has to be inclusive, long-term and in line with the Constitution of Kosovo,” the EU Delegation chief said.

We continue to intensively work with Belgrade and Pristina on legally-binding agreement on comprehensive normalization of relations, Head of EU Delegation in Serbia, Sem Fabrizi told Danas daily. He also added both sides are fully engaged with EU High Representative Federica Mogherini in order to define elements of that agreement.

EU High Representative Federica Mogherini would reiterate during her visit to Belgrade that commitment to working on normalization of Belgrade-Pristina relations, within a dialogue she mediates, must continue, European Commission Spokeswoman, Maja Kocijancic told Serbian media.

Kocijancic also added Mogherini would meet in Belgrade representatives of the authorities and civil society to discuss European Commission report on Serbia.

Aleksandar Vucic and Sem Fabrizi on Tuesday discussed Serbia's EU path, the situation in the region, the rule of law and media freedoms.

This is according to a statement issued by the president's press service, which added that the Serbian president, during his meeting with the head of the EU delegation to Serbia, "stressed Serbia's priority is EU membership," and added that the country would do "everything that is needed to become a part of the European family."
