Coalition Freedom on Sunday begun its campaign in Prizren under the slogan ''We remain here''.

''We wanted to show that politics is a two-way street between citizens and government,'' the coalition said.

Coalition Freedom stated that good citizen service requires fair holding of elections, representation and participation in order to provide real opportunities for all citizens to express their stances related to public affairs, KIM radio reported.

A family house near the southern Kosovo town of Prizren was broken in and completely demolished, the KoSSev website reported on Wednesday.

The house belonging to Dragoslav Petrovic and his family have been targeted several times in the past, the website said. Kosovo police were informed about the incident.
The perpetrators are reported to have broken the door to the house, destroyed the furniture, walls and floor, while family photos were scattered around the house. The home saint icon was also broken.

According to Branimir Gligorijevic, a medical technician, this is the fifth time in the last few years that the ambulance was broken into, medicines have been stolen. But this time, according to Gligorijevic, the complete health documentation was burned.

The case was reported to the Kosovo police and an investigation was conducted. Otherwise, since the return in 2003, Serbian houses were robbed twenty times, and the church bell was stolen, reports TV most.

Chair of the Basic Court Council in Prizren, Artan Sejrani hold a first hearing for accused Darko Tasic from Mala Krusa, KIM Radio reported.

Burglaries and thefts became more frequent in the returnees village of Novake, nearby Prizren, while the latest one occurred over the weekend when several houses were broken into, household items were stolen and significant material damage done, KoSSev portal reported referring to RTK2.

Representatives of the village do not report any longer cases to the police, Serbian media further reported.

On the other side, Kosovo police claims they would be investigated any reported case till the end.

Special Prosecutor of EULEX for war crimes, Paul Flynn, heard Darko Tasic, suspected of committing a war crime against the civilian population, as part of an investigation into the events in Mala Krusa near Prizren.

Darko Tasic is suspected that he and his father and brother participated in burning and looting more than a hundred houses in this village, as well as for the deportation of Albanian women and children to Albania during the Kosovo conflict, reports KIM radio.

The 16th International Documentary and Short Films Festival in Prizren, Dokufest, will screen a total of 253 films in the southern city of Kosovo from August 4 to 12 under the slogans, “Future is my love” and “Future is not dead”.

Basic Court in Prizren ordered the detention of 30 days to Branimir Gligorijević from the village of Novake, because he was wearing a camouflage jacket with "four S".

As RTS learns, Gligorijević is accused of impersonating as public official, and reports that this is one in a series of pressures on the Serbs in recent days.

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) through a press release today condemned the attack against the Turkish Consulate in Prizren, saying such an act is against Kosovo’s interests. “The AAK expresses its deep concern about the incident at the Turkish Consulate in Prizren. The friendly relations with Turkey, as well as with any other country with which we have diplomatic relations, are our goal, and should be treated as such,” notes the press release. Also, the Islamic Community of Kosovo (ICK) condemned the attack against Turkey's Consulate in Prizren.

Kosovo’s Foreign Ministry condemned the attack on Turkey’s General Consulate building in Prizren this morning, considering it "a vandal act of irresponsible people who are against a democratic and multi-ethnic state like Kosovo."  “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs congratulates the Kosovo Police for arresting the irresponsible persons who have committed this hideous act. The Ministry requires that the perpetrators be brought to justice.
