Association of Journalists of Kosovo condemned incidents during Vucic’s visit (RTV Puls)

Association of Journalists of Kosovo expressed concern over obstruction of journalists from Tanjug, Insajder, and DW to carry out their duties during the visit of the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Kosovo, RTV Puls reports.

According to the Association “the police undertook necessary measures to avoid incidents, in order to provide security to all, including the two DW journalists, who were escorted from the place.”

Kosovo police did not officially condemn these three cases, it was added, RTV Puls reported.

“It is the worst when journalists stop talking about their own victims, then it is the end of everything. Fortunately, in Kosovo is not the case. We will talk, ask and continue our pursuit until the institutions start treating cases of murders, assaults and persecution of journalists separately,” Chairperson of the Association of Journalists of Serbia in Kosovo, Budimir Nicic said, KIM Radio reported.
