Serbia has a need to constantly be present on the American continent to be able to protect its national and state interest in the best way, Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic said during his visit to Bogotá, RTS reported on Saturday.

Addressing the 49^th session of the General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS) in the Colombian capital Dacic said that Serbia has become an observer state in many American associations, with the OAS as the largest ones.
