Serbian media reports that First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic received on Monday Deputy Commander of NATO Joint Force Command in Naples Lieutenant General Christian Juneau.

The Serbian government said in a press release that the interlocutors underlined that Serbia and NATO have a common interest of preserving peace and stability in the region, as well as the determination to further enhance partnership cooperation in all spheres of common interest.

Major-General Lorenzo D'Addario said that KFOR was ready for any scenario when it comes to the final agreement between Pristina and Belgrade and assessed the security situation in Kosovo as satisfactory.

KFOR Commander Lorenzo D’Addario, in a RTK2 show, said that it was important that the solution of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina satisfies both parties.

Kosovo police violated the agreement on the movement in the boundary zone and illegally entered the territory of Central Serbia from where they impounded a truck with goods, claims the owner of that truck, S.D. The Kosovo Police has no official comment on the statements, but the report claims that the truck was seized in Sarpelj, which belongs to the Leposavic region.

Diplomat Zoran Milivojevic commenting on letters/congratulations that the USA President Donald Trump has sent to Belgrade and Pristina, said it points out there is no solution to the Kosovo issue without Serbia, Tanjug news agency reported. He also added, support of Washington to Kosovo independence is indisputable.

Kosovo authorities and NATO in letters exchanged in 2013 agreed on the obligation that Kosovo Security Forces (KSF) can not move northern of the Ibar River without KFOR approval. However, these letters are not available to the public, NATO officials said, RTS reported.

The obligation is clear, Kosovo Security Forces cannot move north of the Ibar River without approval of KFOR. Asked if it is possible to see the letters, the NATO official responded, “that this correspondence is not available to the public.”

Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic said on Thursday that membership in the European Union and regional stability are Serbia’s key foreign policy priorities, TV N1 reports.

Speaking to students at the 8th class of High Security and Defense Studies, Dacic said that Kosovo is an issue of the highest national interest and the greatest political and security challenge, adding that Serbia will remain committed to the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and compromise as the only way to reach a viable solution.

KFOR Commander Major General Lorenzo D’Addario in an interview to Radio kontakt plus said he is worried over rhetoric used in Kosovo, warning that one sentence could be a sparkle to create bigger problems.

He termed the situation in Kosovo as peaceful, adding he sees not a single intention to cause incidents.

Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin spoke on Tuesday in Belgrade with NATO International Military Staff Director General Lieutenant-General Jan Broeks.

According to the Serbian government, they discussed "the current situation in Kosovo and Metohija."

Vulin pointed to the good cooperation between the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces with NATO, under the auspices of the Partnership for Peace program.

Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic voiced satisfaction on Tuesday with the excellent cooperation with the Greek Embassy as NATO contact point in Belgrade in promoting the partnership between Serbia and the Alliance.

The minister expects that cooperation to continue with the Norwegian embassy which took over as contact point at Tuesday’s ceremony.

The international community has no more carrots it can offer to Belgrade and Pristina, while the Special Court for KLA crimes would be the pressure to move the dialogue ahead, Nebojsa Covic told Prva TV.

Former head of the Coordination Centre for Kosovo and Metohija, Covic added that regardless to the number of murdered witnesses, NATO and KFOR have voluminous sufficient to prosecute KLA crimes.
