Democracy in Action: Peaceful campaign so far (Lajmi)

Democracy in Action, based on information from monitors of this mission, said election campaign has so far been peaceful, civilised and without any reported incidents.

The International Institute for Middle-East and Balkan Studies (IFIMES) from Ljubljana said in an analysis of the situation in Kosovo, ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections, that there is an interest of the international community to remove "war leaders" from the political life of Pristina.

Pristina is trying to discourage Serbs from voting (Tanjug)

BELGRADE - Head of the Serbian parliament committee on Kosovo Milovan Drecun believes Pristina is interpreting the election law in Kosovo in a way that is unacceptable in order to discourage the Kosovo Serbs from voting in the election on June 8.

Pristina's bad intention is clear, as well as its attempt to influence the situation that will come about after the next parliament is formed, in which the Serbs have only 10 guaranteed seats, he told TV Pink.

Janjić: Risk from low turnout in the north (RTK2)

Belgrade’s decision is expected soon on whether freezing of the campaign of Srpska Ticket will mean the boycott of elections, said political analyst Dušan Janjić to RTK2. He predicts that turnout of Serbs in Kosovo elections won’t be big, and stressed that important political question after elections will be who will get ministerial posts from Serb community, after elections.
