Antić expects Vučić to propose a solution on Trepča (N1, RTS)

Minister of Mining and Energy Aleksandar Antić says that he expects from Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić to announce proposal for a solution to the problem of Trepča at today's session of the Government of Serbia.

Antić says that Vučić will try to find solutions that will the best protect the interests of Serbia in this very sensitive moment.

"Serbia will continue the discussions with Pristina on the agreement on telecommunications and try to improve the situation," Serbian Prime Minister said Thursday. Pope Francis "should visit Belgrade and Pristina within the next year," the Belgrade-based Danas daily reported on Wednesday.

The paper was quoting "unofficial Western diplomatic sources" when reporting this, Tanjug said.

According to the report, the sources said Pope Francis had been invited by Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic to pay a first official visit to Belgrade and was willing to do so, and the Serbian Orthodox Church is not against the invitation either.

Vučić: Western Balkans should be connected by transport network (Tanjug)

Serbian PM Aleksandar Vučić on Tuesday received European Commissioner for Transport Violeta Bulc, highlighting the significance of transport projects for the development of Serbia and noting a commitment to establishing cooperation aimed at connecting the entire Western Balkans through a transport network.

Vucic said a motorway connecting Niš, Merdare, Pristina, Tirana and Durres was a priority, as were other projects agreed as part of the Berlin Process, the Serbian government press office said in a statement.
