Express: Zarko Joksimovic sentenced to 6 months in prison (KIM Radio)

KIM Radio reported, referring to Pristina based Albanian language newspaper Express, that former RTK 2 director Zarko Joksimovic is sentenced to 6 months in prison, under the charges of misusing official duty.

Presiding judge Hoti, announcing the verdict, informed Joksimovic that the prison sentence, with his agreement, can be replaced with a financial fine in the amount of 2.500 euros, KIM Radio reported.

Musliu: I won’t vote in favor of special court (Gazeta Express)

Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) MP Ganimete Musliu told the news site today that she will not vote in favor of the special court that is expected to address war crimes allegations in Kosovo. “In my opinion, this is going to be a political court and I have my doubts about trials that will be held in another country,” she said. Tahiri: We won’t discuss Trepca in Brussels (Express)

Kosovo’s Minister without portfolio Edita Tahiri told the news site on Thursday that the issue of the Trepca mining complex would under no circumstance be discussed in the Pristina-Belgrade dialogue. According to Tahiri, the red lines set in the dialogue with Belgrade do not allow for such topics to be addressed. She also said that the Constitution of Kosovo does not allow opening topics that are related to Kosovo’s wealth and territorial integrity.
