President Vucic says Belgrade ready to continue dialogue with Pristina (FoNet, TV N1)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told French Ambassador Frederic Mondoloni that Belgrade is prepared to continue the dialogue with Pristina as soon as Kosovo revokes the 100 percent tariffs on goods from Serbia, FoNet news agency reports.

Vucic said that Pristina’s decisions which increase the risk of escalating the conflict and endanger the peace and stability of the region are unacceptable, adding that there must be rules and respect for the other side in every dialogue, a press release from the President’s Cabinet quoted him as saying.

Serbs from Kosovo have had a noose put around their necks and that is why the mayors of the four (northern) municipalities resigned, Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric said.

Djuric added that he will be able to be "fully satisfied only once Pristina's discriminatory measures have been rescinded."

Serbia submits request to CEFTA over Pristina's measures (Serbian Government, B92)

US State Secretary Mike Pompeo has called on Kosovo authorities to abolish the tax on goods form Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina (increased by 100 percent). Pompeo did this during his meeting in Washington on Monday with Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, B92 reports.

The US official "encouraged Kosovo to seize this unique window of opportunity to reach a historic comprehensive normalization deal with Serbia under the EU-facilitated Dialogue process," a press release from the US State Department said.

Ivica Dacic said on Monday he would not be surprised if Pristina had indeed banned members of the Serbian government from entering Kosovo and Metohija. The first deputy PM and foreign minister stressed that this would run contrary to all agreements reached in Brussels (during EU-mediated Belgrade-Pristina negotiations).

Dacic told reporters he would not be surprised by such a decision, given that imposing a 100 percent tax on goods (from central Serbia) was proof there was no rational and reasonable policy in Pristina now - " we have moved into the sphere of political insanity."

Serbia, Bosnia will not impose countermeasures on Pristina (Serbian Government, B92)

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke on Saturday with President of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia-Herzegovina Denis Zvizdic about the situation in Kosovo.

Brnabic and Zvizdic agreed in a telephone conversation that neither Serbia nor Bosnia-Herzegovina will introduce reciprocal measures for the time being, and will not make hasty moves towards Pristina, no matter how hard it might be in this situation, the Serbian Government announced.

Djuric: Albanians know where is line they must not cross (Tanjug, TV Most, V92)

Albanians and their leaders know very well where is the line after which there is no turning back, after which they might lose even what they believe to have today, Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric told TV Most.

Commenting on ROSU intrusion in the north of Kosovo, Djuric said it has caused a justified anger and revolt among Serbs, but also unity and solidarity.
