“Drawing target on Vucic’s head” (Tanjug)

Serbian Minister of Internal Affairs, Nebojsa Stefanovic said that “the obvious aim of Kosovo Assembly Speaker Kadri Veseli claims, that Serbian President is Kosovo enemy, is to draw the target on Vucic’s head,” Tanjug news agency reported.

Stefanovic underlined that Vucic is no enemy to Albanians, or anyone else living in the territory of the southern Serbian province, instead he is fighting for the interests of Serbs living there.

PM pledges Serbia will "always be loyal friend to Belarus" (Serbian Government, B92)

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic met on Wednesday in Belarus with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and Prime Minister Syarhey Rumas.

At a bilateral meeting with President Lukashenko, it was concluded that relations between Serbia and Belarus are friendly and that there are no outstanding issues, the Serbian government announced in a press release.

Pristina official has said that President Aleksandar Vucic statement about the treatment of the Kosovo flag in Istanbul on Monday was "not true."

Jetlir Zuberaj, the head of the Kosovo foreign minister's cabinet, reacted in this way regarding Vucic's statement that during the ceremony of the opening of a new airport in Istanbul, the flag of Kosovo was removed at his request.

In his response to a question posed by Albanian language website koha.net, Zuberaj called Vucic "a criminal slanderer."

Popovic-Ivkovic in Doha on Kosovo and Interpol (B92)

Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs, State Secretary Biljana Popovic-Ivkovic met with the Prime Minister of Qatar, Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, B92 reports.

Ivkovic presented to the Prime Minister Al Thani stances and the arguments of the Republic of Serbia against Kosovo request to become Interpol member.

She noted that eventual admission of Kosovo in Interpol would constitute violation of the international law, politicization of this professional police organization and would have far-reaching consequences for its expert nature.

Germany's position that Serbia cannot join the EU until it recognizes the independence of Kosovo "is only a Germany's position."

This was stated on Tuesday in Belgrade by European parliament member (MEP) Eduard Kukan.

And the German position in question was put forward last week, also in Belgrade, by an MP from German Chancellor Angela Merkel's CDU party.

Over RSD 6 bn for projects in Serb communities in Kosovo (Serbian Government, B92)

A joint session of the Serbian government and representatives of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija was held in Belgrade on Tuesday.

An investment plan for the southern province was adopted and measures of incentives for potential investors were agreed on during the meeting, the Serbian government announced.

President Aleksandar Vucic said in a statement for the press after the session that more than RSD 6 billion (equal to EUR 50.7 million) will be invested in various projects over the next 18 months.

Vucic says "Kosovo army will be formed on Nov. 28" (B92)

Aleksandar Vucic has reportedly said that he "has information about the date when the Kosovo army will be formed."

The president made the comment on Tuesday in Belgrade, during his meeting with representatives of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija.

B92 has learned that Vucic said an army would be formed in Kosovo "on November 28, Albanian Flag Day."

Vucic: Kosovo and Metohija issue cannot be resolved without Serbia (RTS, Tanjug)

Neither Kosovo and Metohija nor any other issue related to Serbia can be resolved without Serbia’s participation, President Alekdandar Vucic said yesterday in Istanbul, RTS reported.

Following the meeting with Turkish President Erdogan, Aleksandar Vucic would have another meeting with world leaders on November 11, in Paris, however, he is not certain the world powers would deal with the Kosovo issue on that day.

Stefanovic: Admission of Kosovo in Interpol would mean politicization (BETA)

Serbian Minister of Internal Affairs, Nebojsa Stefanovic said that the eventual admission of Kosovo in Interpol would be “a precedent” BETA news agency reports.

Stefanovic made these remarks during the talks with Austrian and Romanian diplomacy heads Karin Kneissl and Teodor Melescanu.

Speaking on the margins of third European Union and Arab World Summit in Athens, Stefanovic noted that admission of Kosovo in Interpol would run contrary to the international law, UN SC Resolution 1244, as well as rules and procedures of Interpol.
