Judges and prosecutors from the north of Kosovo did not take an oath today at the office of the Kosovo President, RTS reported.

The ceremony was scheduled to take place today at 11.00. Kosovo Chief Prosecutor, Aleksandar Lumezi said to RTS that judges and prosecutors from the north did not come and the next date would be set by the office of the Kosovo President.

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Director, Marko Djuric said to RTS earlier, he expects the implementation of the agreement on the judiciary would start as of Friday.

The South-East European Cooperation Process member countries is being held in Dubrovnik today, which will be attended by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

The president of Croatia will give the introductory speech at this meeting, after which, Tanjug learned, the situation in the region will be spoken about first by President Vucic, and then his Slovenian colleague Borut Pahor, head of the Montenegrin state Filip Vujanovic, Kosovo President Hashim Thaqi, President of Macedonia Gjorge Ivanov, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Turgul Turkes.

Aida Derguti, from Vetevendosje movement has just left the meeting of the Assembly Presidency, and told media that the next Assembly session will be held on Thursday. She said that she tried to object this decision, however she was incapable to change anything. “The session will be held on Thursday, we will obstruct holding of this session as well. In the meantime, we will send the case of manner of the election of the President of Kosovo at the Constitutional Court. This is the position of the united opposition,” Derguti said.

The three opposition parties, Vetevendosje movement, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), and the Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA), have not decided yet on whether to send the case of Hashim Thaci’s election for president to the Constitutional Court. A senior official from the opposition, who preferred to remain anonymous, said that they are assessing all the documentation.
