“When the EU and the U.S. have decided to put such sanctions against Russian Federation and when they are more determinant than ever, of course Kosovo would do the same thing. So, there is a logical and coordinated flow of the democratic world to condemn the Russian behavior and there is no doubt that Kosovo has joined it,” said Enver Hoxhaj, Kosovo’s Minister of Foreign Affair’s.

Russia will soon receive bitter news from Kosovo. Kosovo executive is ready to put sanctions that are already implemented by the Western countries due to the behavior in relation to Ukraine.

The decision is not expected to make a major impact, since presence of Russian investments in Kosovo is minimal, however, according to Minister Hoxhaj, Kosovo has to undertake this step due to the Stabilization-Association Agreement. In an interview for Tribuna, Hoxhaj said that he expect that one day Moscow will start to see existence of Kosovo state and not to see Pristina from Belgrade.

Minister Hoxhaj said that Kosovo will also position with the western alliance which has proclaimed war to ISIS.

He claims that the institutional stalemate has not slowed down the recognitions of independence, and reiterated that the stalemate can be overcome only if the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), gains its deserved right to create the government.
