Security and order matters treated at the Presidency (Koha online)

President Atifete Jahjaga held today a joint meeting with the outgoing Prime Minister, Hashim Thaci, the Chief Prosecutor, Syle Hoxha, head of the Judicial Council of Kosovo, Enver Peci, Director of Kosovo Police, Shpend Maxhuni and Deputy Director of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency, Muharrem Ajeti, to assess the recent developments in Kosovo, after the last UN Security Council session on Kosovo and in the verge of the UN General Assembly, informs a press release from the Office of the President.

Jahjaga valued the work and contribution of these institutions and mechanisms, and stressed the need for further harmonization of the mandated institutions in order to safeguard the law and order in the entire territory of Kosovo, continuous implementation of the agreements reached with the Republic of Serbia with mediation of the European Union and acceleration of the reforms which are related to the fulfillment of the standards in the integrating processes of Kosovo and visa liberalization.
