Columnist of this daily, Halil Matoshi, says that based on the Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty the statement of the French President, François Hollande that the barbarity of the “Islamic State” in Paris is “an act of war” requires a collective reaction. This means, he notes, that from the black Friday in Paris, Albania is also in war. NATO could undertake massive infantry attack against the “Islamic State” and it is believed that its end has already started.

However, the war should be widely won against all the indoctrinated, who trying to be devoted believers, are reminding, people of the entire World about the barbarities of medieval darkness. Therefore, continues Matoshi, it is not only “the black army” of the “Islamic State” that should be defeated in this war but the aggressive discourse of this mentality, through which they give themselves the right to kill on behalf of some God.

Being that majority of ethnic Albanians have aligned themselves with the joint European values, this war should be a war of values and not cruelty.  When Kosovo is concerned, this war against extremist infiltrations should be done “by soft means,” which involve an offer for peace, tolerance and dialogue with everyone…

According to Matoshi, the current political elite in Kosovo has violated the freedom of its people who are against any kind of violence. They are irresponsible, ignorant, anti-state, and anti-democratic, therefore the time has come for both the government and Vetevendosje to be pushed away by a citizen movement which favors peaceful and prosperous Kosovo where people can fulfill their individual dreams and bring up a family in a dignified manner.

Instead of strangling each other, they should gather to debate for the position of Albanians in this war, where no one can be neutral. At the time when the ISIS black flag is threatening our joint land, Europe, our joint values, Kosovo political elite are clashing over false causes, about who liberated this country and who has more right to rule this society. “A criminal mind – a ghost is moving over Kosovo,” concludes Matoshi.
