Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić said Tuesday that Belgrade and Pristina should forget the weapons and talk about everything, and hoped that no one would think of killing Serbs in Kosovo.
Asked by journalists to comment on the statement by the President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolić of Serbia’s readiness to defend the Serbs in Kosovo with the weapons, Vučić answered the question: “Are you wondering whether someone will kill the Serbs.”
-Someone constantly turns something in different ways. We just hope that no one will get that idea. Let us see, what are we to blame. We can talk about all and in all things we can be different, but we must forget the weapons, and they and we, then we have no problem, Vučić told reporters in Davos.
– Let’s see, what are we to blame really, whether we dragged weapons somewhere – no we did not, weapons – no, and now instead to talk about those who have done it, we will put burden ourselves and we’ll talk that we are guilty. And that’s the thing that I can see and in the international community, said Vučić.
He said that he cannot deal with either media or all others in the world who are working for their countries and their governments, more of them in the West, who have recognized the independence of Kosovo and we cannot convince them that we are right.
– But at least, let’s not talk that we have caused any uncertainty, and it is completely clear that someone else came with heavy weapons – said Vučić.
Vučić said that he does not understand that it looks like someone did not care about a better standard, economic growth and in the world anticipate us a growth in the coming years, and we will have higher salaries and pensions in the following years.
