The lawyer for the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) leader Ramush Haradinaj, Arianit Koci, said that even if the court in Colmar, France, decides to accept Serbia’s request for his client’s extradition, it is the French Ministry of Justice that will have a final say on the matter. Koci reiterated however that Serbia’s arrest warrant against Haradinaj was political and abuse of international law. He also said Serbian authorities are blackmailing France into extraditing his client. “Leaders in Belgrade have publicly states that if Mr. Haradinaj is not extradited to Serbia, they would refuse to extradite anyone to France.”
