Progressive Democratic Party (PDS) would make decision on how to participate in the forthcoming local elections, but “what is certain, PDS would have mayor candidates in some municipalities, while in others they would have lists of candidates for MA’s,” stated the leader of the PDS, Nenad Rasic to RTK 2.
Rasic also expressed hope that the situation, similar to those during the parliamentary elections when certain candidates revoke their participation, would not occur again.
“Regardless if someone could use repressive measures and methods we thought belonged to the past, we must understand we are the ones to decide about our destiny,” Rasic said to RTK 2.
Srpska Lista call for unity and gathering under one flag, Rasic considers as dishonest. “You have a call for joint actions and one flag, one group that is self-organizing parties, and it is irrelevant if anyone else is invited. Such manipulation and propaganda aims to diminish the significance of other political options,” Rasic concluded.
