Kosovo’s Chief Prosecutor, Aleksader Lumezi, said Oliver Ivanovic’s murder is being investigated by the Basic Prosecution in Mitrovica, with investigations being commenced by one Albanian and one Serb prosecutor.

According to Lumezi, the prosecution has gathered some evidence, however the investigations are ongoing. “There were also requests by Serbian authorities to cooperate on this direction, however we told them that we are ready to receive all information that they might eventually possess on Oliver Ivanovic’s murder, as foreseen by the Law on international cooperation. We have not received any information, we are waiting,” Lumezi said.

Oliver Ivanovic was killed by a firearm in the morning of 16 January, while going to his office.
