The Ambassador of the United States of America, Greg Delawie, took to his Twitter account to react to teargas throwing at the Assembly of Kosovo, prior to voting ratification of the agreement for border demarcation with Montnegro.

“Violence as a political tool has no place in Kosovo. I urge MPs to reconvene and finish the vote today,” Delawie wrote.

Head of the EU Office to Kosovo, Nataliya Apostolova also called on all MPs and all parties to go back to Kosovo Assembly “to defeat such unacceptable practices that go against democratic society and the future of the Kosovo people. MPs, vote for the future, not for the past!”

“Teargas is not a mean for political debates. This cannot serve as an example of manner on how to fight for ideas and policies at the most senior political forum of the country,” is written in the reaction of the German Embassy to Kosovo.
