Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj met today the Commander of Iowa National Guard, Major General Timothy Orr.
“Kosovo’s close partnership with the state of Iowa is a reflection of cherished relations we have with the United States of America. Special credit for this is due to the Commander of the Iowa National Guard, General Timothy Orr, who for eight years served as a powerful bridge for advancing overall cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the field of defense,” Haradinaj wrote on Facebook. He added that Gen Maj Orr has “secured a place of honour in Kosovo’s state history.”
