President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci said today that coordination between the EU and the U.S. could result in a successful agreement between Kosovo and Serbia.
Speaking from Tirana where he delivered awards to personalities for their contribution to Kosovo’s freedom and independence, Thaci said Kosovo’s future is in NATO and European Union and Kosovo is walking slowly but surely to this destination.
With regards to the upcoming meeting in Paris, Thaci said: “Dialogue should continue unconditioned, on equal footing between two independent and sovereign countries. I appreciate the Franco-German initiative and at the same time I am extremely encouraged by the full support from the United States of America, therefore a maximal coordination between the European Union and the U.S. could result in the achievement of a final agreement on mutual recognition”.
