Albania’s Acting Foreign Minister Gent Cakaj and Kosovo’s Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli signed on Tuesday in Tirana an agreement for the unification of diplomatic missions of Kosovo and Albania, the news website reports. Cakaj tweeted that the move “opens new horizons for joint institutional actions”. Pacolli said the agreement “marks a major step toward our national integration and it will make even stronger our joint global actions”. The news website also notes that Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic reacted against the agreement arguing that it is scandalous that there was no reaction from the United States of America. Brnabic told PINK TV station that the agreement was intentionally signed at a time when the EU was electing its new leaders.
