Kosovo’s Minister of Justice, Abelard Tahiri, said today that one of his most difficult decisions has been the repatriation of Kosovars from the fighting zones in Syria but that he was determined to make sure that Kosovo would not be used as a reference to terror-related activities. “I was also very determined that children and victims of manipulation would not remain in the conflict zones. Today, the suspects are faced with justice, while the children are being rehabilitated and have started new lives. The Republic of Kosovo has shown its full commitment to the rule of law and to its citizens. I am proud that as a result of this commitment, our Republic today is a global reference against terror and a global reference for the social regeneration of victims of this phenomenon,” Tahiri said.
