Kosovo Assembly MPs endorsed today the draft law for ratification of the financial agreement between Kosovo and the European Union on Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA).
The agreement provides over €90 million assistance funds to Kosovo dedicated to reforms in democracy and good governance, rule of law, environment, energy, education, and employment.
The EU Office in Kosovo hailed the move. “Congratulations to the outgoing Kosovo Assembly for its ratification of IPA 2018 financial agreement between Kosovo and EU. Your decision ensures a continuous EU support for reforms in good governance, rule of law, environment, energy, education, employment,” a statement published on social media reads.
