Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) deputy leader, Enver Hoxhaj, took to Facebook today to note that the disbanding of the Kosovo Assembly marks a turning point in Kosovo politics and that during the last two years the people have lost trust in the institutions. “This should not have happened. Institutions exist to serve the people and to enable individual and societal development. The PDK remains committed to restoring the people’s trust in the institutions,” he wrote. Hoxhaj also said that the upcoming parliamentary elections will determine not only the people’s trust but also our own awareness and responsibility vis-à-vis processes. “The PDK remains committed to assuming full responsibility to conclude one of the most challenging chapters in post-war Kosovo”.
