“Srpska Lista is a force that brings together our people in Kosovo and Metohija and does not need to use any dirty tricks to regain the trust of voters, which was repeatedly confirmed,” SL said reacting to the Independent Liberal Party (SLS) leader Slobodan Petrovic’s statement about the pressure exerted on opponents of Srpska Lista, Radio Mitrovica sever reports.
Petrovic said on Monday that the head of local SLS board from Strpce, Sasa Djoridjevic received a dismissal decision from a health center where he worked for 25 years because he did not want to join Srpska Lista. Petrovic also argued that “Srpska Lista is in a big panic, they are not sure of themselves, and the confirmation of all this is their elections list”.
Meanwhile, Srpska Lista noted that “the abuse of individuals and their individual destinies and problems is the manner of some political forces that are Serbian in name only, which are taking part in these elections with the sole purpose to undermine and bring down the unity of Serbian people at a time when our unity is our only reliable defense against everything that is happening to us”.
It also argued that Slobodan Petrovic is in fact the one “who intimidates the people into voting for the Independent Liberal Party, and we have the evidence for that and testimony of employees of some Pristina-controlled public companies”.
