Voting through mail has started from 19 September.
“The period of voting through mail is ongoing. So far, by 1 October, we have received five thousand and nine hundred packages supposed to be ballots,” said Valmir Elezi, spokesperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC). He added that Diaspora voted will be accepted by CEC until 5 October.
“Counting of the votes will be commenced by the Counting and Results Center, after the election day and after all foreseen procedures are completed,” Elezi said.
He also said that all Diaspora votes are being kept in a special room, guarded 24 hours by Kosovo Police.
