I expect the “Srpska” candidates to take the government in the six municipalities of Kosovo with Serbian majority south of the Ibar River, said to RTS Branimir Stojanovic a candidate of the list for the Gracanica mayor.

“We will form the government in all municipalities, it is quite certain, the only question is in which municipalities we will go for the second round, we are waiting for the election results,” said Stojanovic in the RTS News.

He added that he misses very few votes to win in Gracanica. Stojanovic said that the voter turnout was great and he was satisfied with the results achieved in all municipalities in southern Kosovo.

Stojanovic said that they are waiting for the final results, because of the counting of conditional votes and the votes of immobile persons that were unable to come to the polling stations.

As he explained, conditional votes are the votes of those who voted at another polling station, instead of the one on which they are registered, and added that there are about 500 such votes.

According to him, before the second round is important to prevent abuse and he expects corrections of any irregularities by 1st December when the second round is scheduled.

Stojanovic said that there are a lot of people who live for years in this area, and are not registered as voters in the municipality of Gracanica, as in other municipalities with Serbian majority.

“It is important to organize the displaced in large numbers to come. The CEC in these situations is truing to misuse it, trying not to recognize those votes. The Mechanism of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija is the best, which organizes buses for those who are already on the list. They come to their own community and then their vote is clear and indisputable,” says Stojanovic.

Asked when he expects formation of the Association of Serbian municipalities, Stojanovic said that it could be earliest for a month and a half or two after the second round of elections.
