Ramush Haradinaj, leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), said he expected his party would score better results in the 2013 municipal elections. “We worked for better results, we hoped and we waited. To be honest, we are not satisfied with the results of municipal elections. We have lost in several municipalities, we won a new municipality, but we don’t see this is a victory,” Haradinaj told Bota Sot.
The AAK leader said he supported Prime Minister Hashim Thaci on national topics. “I supported him on national topics. The north was a cancer for Kosovo. It is an unresolved topic, it is a concern, a real problem that is costing us with economic development and fewer recognitions,” he added.
Haradinaj also said he was disappointed with talks between Pristina and Belgrade after the April 19 agreement.
